We’re supporting a specialist clean energy debt advisory platform as they continue to scale their London team. Operating at the intersection of capital markets and the energy transition, the business advises developers, investors and IPPs on structuring and securing debt solutions for utility-scale renewable and low-carbon infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and global growth markets.
This is a senior Vice President level position with responsibility for originating, structuring and executing non-recourse and hybrid debt financings across renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure. You’ll lead transactions end-to-end, work directly with lenders and sponsors, and play a key role in shaping financing strategies for next generation clean energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the structuring and execution of debt financing for renewable energy and infrastructure assets
- Manage full transaction lifecycles from mandate through to financial close
- Drive lender negotiations, term sheets, credit approvals and due diligence processes
- Advise clients on capital structure optimisation, bankability and market dynamics
- Maintain senior relationships with commercial banks, DFIs, institutional lenders and credit funds
- Support origination activity and contribute to client pitches and strategic engagement
- Mentor junior team members and support best-practice development
- 8-10+ years’ experience in project finance, debt advisory, infrastructure lending or structured finance
- Strong track record delivering non-recourse debt transactions in renewables or infrastructure
- Deep understanding of project finance fundamentals and bankability drivers
- Established lender relationships across energy and infrastructure markets
- Advanced financial modelling capability
- Strong client-facing, negotiation and leadership skills
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar (MBA/CFA advantageous)
- Clear motivation to support the clean energy transition
- Lead financing for high-impact renewable and low carbon projects
- Work within a respected, specialist advisory platform
