The Role
We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Transaction Lead to join the London advisory team. This role will take ownership of complex transaction mandates, guiding clients through valuation, due diligence, structuring, and commercial negotiations. You will work at the intersection of finance, technical inputs, and market strategy to deliver successful outcomes for major renewable energy projects and portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full transaction workstreams for renewable energy deals, including valuation, structuring, due diligence, and negotiation.
- Develop and review financial models to assess project returns, sensitivities, and bankability.
- Prepare investment papers, market analysis, and strategic recommendations for clients.
- Coordinate technical, legal, financial, and ESG advisors throughout the transaction process.
- Advise clients on commercial terms, risks, and optimisation strategies for solar, wind, storage, and hybrid assets.
- Support origination efforts through opportunity screening, pitch preparation, and client engagement.
- Maintain strong awareness of policy developments, market pricing, and financing trends across the energy-transition landscape.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure effective delivery of advisory outputs.
About You
6–10 years of experience in renewable energy advisory, project finance.
