We are seeking a highly capable Transaction Lead to join the London team on a permanent basis. This role will take ownership of complex infrastructure transactions from early-stage structuring through to financial close, providing strategic, commercial, and financial guidance to clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of infrastructure transactions, including structuring, valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Manage the preparation of transaction materials, investment papers, and commercial recommendations.
  • Coordinate inputs from technical, legal, financial, and market advisors to support successful deal delivery.
  • Drive client engagement, offering clear strategic advice and managing expectations throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Support origination efforts by assessing opportunities, preparing pitches, and contributing to business development activities.
  • Oversee and refine financial models to assess project bankability, returns, sensitivities, and risk allocation.
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members involved in transaction workstreams.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities across the infrastructure and energy transition landscape.

About You

  • Proven track record leading or managing complex transactions to completion.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.
  • Experienced in negotiating commercial terms and coordinating due diligence processes.
  • Confident client communicator with excellent stakeholder management ability.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines within a fast-paced advisory environment.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of the UK infrastructure, energy, or transport sectors is highly desirable.
