Civils Site Engineer Location: Leiston, Suffolk Job Type: Full-time, Contract Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: October 2026 We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civils Site Engineer to join our delivery team on a range of civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable engineer who enjoys working on site, taking ownership of setting-out, quality, and day-to-day engineering activities. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager and our Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of works safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Typical projects may include highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks, reinforced concrete, foundations, infrastructure, and public-realm works. Key Responsibilities * Carry out accurate setting-out using GPS, total station, and level equipment. * Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction programmes. * Produce and maintain site records, setting-out data, and as-built information. * Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are completed in line with approved drawings and specifications. * Assist with the preparation of RAMS, permits, ITPs, and quality documentation. * Conduct site checks, inspections, and quality-control activities. * Identify engineering or construction issues and escalate them promptly to the site management team. ...
