Pace Infrastructure is supporting a major contractor within a rail framework environment and is looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent / Agent to support the delivery of structures and earthworks packages across Kent. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with strong rail civils experience, comfortable managing complex works in live rail environments from planning through to delivery.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the construction management and delivery of rail-based civils works, with a key focus on structures and earthworks packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of structures and earthworks packages
- Plan, sequence, and coordinate works in line with programme & possession constraints
- Produce and review RAMS, WPPs, TBSs, ITPs, and method statements
- Manage subcontractors across:
- Earthworks
- Reinforced concrete
- Retaining walls
- Drainage & associated civils
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with rail standards & framework requirements
- Coordinate with stakeholders including client teams and rail partners
- Manage temporary works and interface with design teams
- Drive quality assurance, inspections, and as-built documentation
