We are currently recruiting experienced Jet Vac/Gully Wagon Operators to join a highways team based out of Chester Depot. You will be working as part of a 2-man crew undertaking essential drainage and gully maintenance works across the network. This is a great opportunity for operatives with highways experience looking for consistent work and competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out gully cleaning and drainage maintenance
  • Operating jetting and vacuum equipment
  • Working alongside HGV gully wagon drivers (or driving if qualified)
  • Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to all health & safety and highways regulations
  • Using systems such as Kaarbon Tech for reporting and job tracking (Training Provided)

Requirements

  • CSCS Card / Highways Passport
  • NRSWA (Signing, Lighting & Guarding)
  • HGV Licence (if driving gully wagon) + relevant CPCS
  • Water Jetting Association certification
  • Manual Handling
  • Confined Space (minimum medium risk)
  • Traffic Management (NHSS 12 or equivalent)
