We are currently recruiting experienced Shuttering Carpenters for a major new station build project within a live rail and civils environment. Works involve complex reinforced concrete structures and heavy civils packages.
Duties will include:
- Constructing and erecting formwork for:
- Lift pits
- Retaining walls
- Reinforced concrete bases
- LB beams
- Pre-cast concrete units
- Platform and structural civils works
Requirements:
- Blue or Gold CSCS Card
- Proven experience on RC and heavy civils projects
- Experience with retaining walls, lift shafts/pits and structural concrete works
- Ability to read technical drawings
- PTS preferred (if working rail access areas)
- Good understanding of safe systems of work
