Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lift Engineer, located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Lift Engineers are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of lifting equipment, ensuring safe and consistent functionality. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, conducting inspections, and performing repairs or maintenance tasks in alignment with health and safety regulations. Interacting professionally with customers and responding to their needs in a timely manner is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with lifting equipment, including maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the engineering and mechanical sectors
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
- Customer service skills to provide a professional and positive experience
- Previous experience in a similar role and relevant certifications in lift engineering are advantageous
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling technical challenges
