Our client, a major organization involved in large-scale infrastructure delivery, is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Administrator to take ownership of their project environment.

In this role, you will act as the custodian of the project's "single source of truth." You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the SharePoint landscape, ensuring it remains secure, structured, and highly reliable. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining information governance, supporting audits, and enabling seamless collaboration across both internal project teams and external delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environment Management: Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, permissions, and workflows.
  • Information Governance: Ensure all document management and metadata structures comply with rigorous information security standards.
  • Access Control: Actively manage permissions for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance to project teams, enforcing consistent collaboration practices and document management standards across the programme.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Support regular access reviews and internal audits to maintain project compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Expertise: Proven experience administering SharePoint in a controlled project or enterprise environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to design and maintain structured document libraries, metadata schemas, and automated workflows.

Working Arrangements
  • Location: Hybrid. The role is based primarily remote with requirements to attend the Falmer office.
  • Flexibility: While we ideally look for two days per week in the office, there is flexibility for the right candidate, with a minimum requirement of two days per month.
