This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building commercial software products and serving as the technical lead for Windows within a cross‑platform engineering environment.
You will work closely with teams developing software across Windows, mac OS, and Linux while taking primary ownership of Windows architecture, implementation, and platform quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain commercial software products for Windows.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for Windows‑related development and platform issues.
- Collaborate with engineers working across Windows, mac OS, and Linux.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and quality initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve platform‑specific performance and reliability issues.
- Contribute to build systems, automation, and release processes.
- Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ and software engineering best practices.
- Experience shipping commercial software products.
- Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Experience with Windows internals or low‑level system programming.
- Cross‑platform development experience on Windows, mac OS, and Linux.
