Windows software development.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building commercial software products and serving as the technical lead for Windows within a cross‑platform engineering environment.

You will work closely with teams developing software across Windows, mac OS, and Linux while taking primary ownership of Windows architecture, implementation, and platform quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain commercial software products for Windows.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for Windows‑related development and platform issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers working across Windows, mac OS, and Linux.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and quality initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve platform‑specific performance and reliability issues.
  • Contribute to build systems, automation, and release processes.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of modern C++ and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience shipping commercial software products.
  • Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
  • Preferred / Bonus Experience
  • Experience with Windows internals or low‑level system programming.
  • Cross‑platform development experience on Windows, mac OS, and Linux.

• Experience with security‑focused software, including

  • Encryption
  • Secure communications
  • Anti‑tamper systems
  • Software licensing technologies
  • GUI development experience using Qt or JUCE.
  • Familiarity with Python, CMake, and CI/CD systems.
  • Passion for Windows platform technologies and delivering exceptional user experiences.
