We are currently seeking an experienced Risk Manager with strong Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) capability to support a major infrastructure programme within the water/utilities sector. This role would suit individuals with experience across infrastructure environments such as water, utilities, rail, highways, aviation, or defence, who are confident operating within complex, large-scale capital programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation and management of an integrated risk management framework across a major programme.
- Facilitate risk identification workshops and support the assessment and prioritisation of threats and opportunities.
- Monitor and maintain risk registers, ensuring clear visibility of key risk triggers and mitigation actions.
- Track overall programme risk exposure against available risk and contingency budgets.
- Work closely with project teams and contractors to assess both client-held and contractor-held risks.
- Produce clear and timely risk reporting to support programme decision-making and governance.
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessments (cost and schedule) to support contingency and investment planning.
- Support mitigation planning and monitor the effectiveness of management responses.
- Proven experience in a Risk Management role within major infrastructure or capital delivery programmes.
- Strong understanding of integrated risk management processes across risk, cost, and schedule.
- Experience facilitating risk workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Hands-on experience conducting Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA/QRA).
- Proficiency with tools such as PRA, @Risk, Safran Risk, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with reporting and database tools such as ARM, Predict, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- APM/IRM Risk Certification preferred.
- Degree qualification within a construction, engineering, or infrastructure-related discipline is desirable.
