About the role: We are looking for a skilled Electrical / Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our UK factory at London Thamesport (ME30EP). This is an operational role in an industrial environment, with direct responsibility for the maintenance of machinery and electrical systems to ensure continuous production and efficiency. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in industrial maintenance, who are hands-on, safety-focused, and proactive in improving machinery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain machinery and industrial installations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Respond quickly to production incidents to minimise downtime.
- Operate and maintain industrial machinery: motors, gantry cranes, overhead cranes, generators, presses, lathes, etc.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Vocational training (FP) in Electrical/Electromechanical Maintenance or a similar field.
- Solid knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.
- Experience in prefabricated concrete, heavy industry, or similar is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
