Lead a high-quality home care service where people come first. Are you an experienced Registered Manager who’s proud of delivering safe, person-centred care and ready to lead a service with real support behind you? We’re looking for a Registered Home care Manager to take ownership of our Wirral hub, driving quality, compliance and growth while ensuring people in the community can live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
For over 15 years, we’ve built our reputation on doing things the right way: care built around people’s choices, not just tasks.
The role
As the Registered Homecare Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring high standards across compliance, care delivery, team performance and customer experience. You’ll be supported by centralised teams and senior leaders so you can focus on what matters: running an outstanding service and developing a strong team.
Key responsibilities
- Hold CQC registration and ensure the service remains fully compliant
- Lead and develop a team of care professionals and office staff
- Drive quality through audits, supervisions, training, and continuous improvement
- Maintain strong safeguarding, risk management, and medication governance
- Build and sustain relationships with service users, families, commissioners and stakeholders
- Manage staffing levels, rota efficiency and service performance
- Support service growth through high standards, reputation, and effective operations
What makes this role different
- Central support teams (HR, Payroll, Quality, Marketing and more)
- In-house recruitment team — ensuring you have the staff you need
- Zero agency use — we recruit and retain our own people
- Our dedicated Academy to support development for you and your team
- Collaborative Senior Leadership Team support — with a voice at the table
- Digital Care Plans already rolled out for smoother operations
- Friendly internal IT support when needed
About you
You’ll be someone who leads with empathy, high standards and accountability.
Essential
- Experience as a Registered Manager / Homecare Manager / Domiciliary Care Manager
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and improve outcomes
- Passion for delivering person-centred care and building strong local services
Ready to make an impact? If you want to run a service you can be proud of — with support, structure and progression opportunities — we’d love to hear from you.
