An established and growing Recruitment Agency in Southampton is looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its successful White Collar Construction division.

We are keen to speak with recruiters with experience within Construction, Main Contracting, Residential or Civil Engineering recruitment. The Role

You will manage and grow a white collar construction/ Civil engineering recruitment desk, developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates across the construction and civil engineering sectors. You will recruit across a range of white collar construction positions including:

  • Project Managers
  • Site Managers
  • Quantity Surveyors
  • Estimators
  • Commercial Managers
  • Contracts Managers
  • Design Managers
  • Engineers
  • Planners

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle
  • Business development and winning new clients
  • Building and managing client relationships
  • Managing multiple live vacancies
  • Candidate sourcing, interviewing and placement management
  • Negotiating terms and fees
  • Account management and repeat business development
  • Mentoring junior consultants where applicable

About You

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience working within a Recruitment Agency environment recruiting within Construction or Civil Engineering markets
  • Background within Main Contracting, Residential or Civil Engineering preferred
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially driven and ambitious
  • Target-focused with a proactive approach
  • Looking for long-term career progression within a growing business
