We are an award-winning care company continually looking to see how we can change the world of care to enhance the lives of our service users and staff. Working with young adults with neurological disorders and learning disabilities in the local community, we are looking for a weekend carer to join our team working on Saturdays, supporting young adults to have happy and valuable life experiences.
With a standard 8-hour shift containing a visit to one or at most two of our service users, you get the opportunity to really make a difference to their lives. To ensure the levels of support, each care professional is matched to service users based on personalities, interests and hobbies — maintaining the person-centric support we provide.
We are seeking an individual with:
- A fun and happy outlook on life
- Previous experience in care or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy
To be successful, you need to be based close to Crawley, West Sussex, hold a full and valid UK or EU/EAA driving licence, and have access to your own vehicle. Service users are based locally; however, you may need to use your car to help them attend appointments.
