About the role

We’re looking for a Technology Enablement Engineer to help colleagues get the best from their technology. You’ll combine responsive technical support with endpoint management, automation and service improvement, with a particular focus on strengthening our Mac service.

AI is a major part of our technology strategy. You’ll help colleagues adopt AI tools safely, identify everyday tasks that could be automated and make sure our workplace technology

What you will be doing

  • Resolve issues across macOS, Windows, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and workplace technology, keeping colleagues informed throughout.
  • Manage the Mac lifecycle through Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Intune, from enrolment and configuration to updates and retirement.
  • Improve device setup and support through zero-touch deployment, scripting and automation.
  • Spot practical opportunities to use AI and automation to make work easier for colleagues.
  • Contribute to projects that improve collaboration, security and the experience of working across The PA.

What we need from you

  • Experience supporting macOS in a business environment.
  • Experience managing endpoints through Microsoft Intune or a similar platform.
  • Knowledge of Apple Business Manager, automated device enrolment, configuration profiles or Mac application deployment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, identity, access, authentication and device compliance.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows, iOS and Android devices.
  • A structured approach to resolving hardware, software, network and collaboration issues.
  • Clear communication skills and a strong focus on colleague service.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, take ownership and maintain accurate documentation.

Experience with scripting, Windows Autopilot, application packaging, Teams Rooms, audiovisual technology or generative AI tools would be helpful.

The role may include occasional travel or support outside normal working hours for major events and business critical activity.
