How you’ll make a difference
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, high-quality Group consolidated financial statements (monthly and annual), ensuring compliance with FRS 102.
- Act as the technical accounting lead, providing clear guidance and producing well-reasoned accounting papers on complex issues and new standards.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring strong financial governance across the Group.
- Deputise for the Group Financial Controller, supporting leadership of the financial reporting function.
- Play a central role in Board reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, delivering clear and insightful outputs.
- Oversee and continuously improve the external audit process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
- Drive consistency and compliance with Group accounting policies across international business units.
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A, restructuring, and cashflow optimisation.
- Champion continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
About you
- You’ll be a technically outstanding finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with the confidence and ambition to operate at a senior level.
- Background in practice (audit) with post-qualification experience in a Group finance function.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and Group consolidations.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-entity organisation (desirable).
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives.
- Highly organised, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, ambitious mindset - motivated to make an impact and progress your career.
