About the role

We’re looking for a Group Financial Reporting Manager to play a critical role at the heart of our Group Finance function during an exciting period of transformation and growth. This is a high-profile, high-impact role, acting as the right-hand to the Group Financial Controller and deputising where required. You will be the technical expert and trusted authority on financial reporting across the Group - the go-to person for the latest accounting standards and their application in a complex, international environment. You’ll take ownership of Group consolidation, external reporting, and technical accounting, while working closely with senior stakeholders - including direct exposure to the executive team. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious, career-driven individual to make a visible impact, shape best practice, and help drive the evolution of a growing organisation at a pivotal stage. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has trained in practice (audit) and has built experience within a Group finance environment, and is now looking to step into a broader, more influential role.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, high-quality Group consolidated financial statements (monthly and annual), ensuring compliance with FRS 102.
  • Act as the technical accounting lead, providing clear guidance and producing well-reasoned accounting papers on complex issues and new standards.
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring strong financial governance across the Group.
  • Deputise for the Group Financial Controller, supporting leadership of the financial reporting function.
  • Play a central role in Board reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, delivering clear and insightful outputs.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the external audit process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
  • Drive consistency and compliance with Group accounting policies across international business units.
  • Support strategic initiatives including M&A, restructuring, and cashflow optimisation.
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.

About you

  • You’ll be a technically outstanding finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with the confidence and ambition to operate at a senior level.
  • Background in practice (audit) with post-qualification experience in a Group finance function.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and Group consolidations.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-entity organisation (desirable).
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Highly organised, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset - motivated to make an impact and progress your career.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and 10% annual bonus.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
  • Wellbeing Day each year (An additional 8 hours' leave from day one for life admin or personal time).
  • 8 hours of paid volunteering time annually through our volunteering partner.
  • Life assurance (up to 4x salary).
  • Wellhub fitness and wellbeing access to 50,000+ facilities worldwide.
  • Company pension scheme (minimum 8% total contribution).
  • Training Sponsorship Award.
  • BUPA Health Cash Plan (salary sacrifice).
