At Hydrogen, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Client Services team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract.
You’ll lead some of our most exciting client relationships, helping brands solve complex challenges through strategic thinking, creative campaigns and exceptional delivery.
This is an opportunity to work with a talented multidisciplinary team, influence the direction of key accounts and play a meaningful role in a growing agency that’s evolving beyond social into a full‑service marketing communications offering.

About the role
As Senior Account Manager, you’ll own a portfolio of key client accounts, becoming a trusted adviser who understands their business, challenges and ambitions.
You’ll lead projects from brief through to delivery, working closely with specialists across strategy, content, paid media, insight, design and production to create work that delivers measurable results.
Alongside delivering exceptional client service, you’ll identify opportunities to grow accounts, contribute to commercial success and support the development of more junior team members.

- What you’ll be doing
- Building trusted, long‑term relationships with clients.
- Leading projects from briefing through delivery, ensuring work is on time, on budget and exceeds expectations.
- Developing strategic campaign plans that solve real business challenges.
- Monitoring campaign performance and recommending improvements.
- Identifying opportunities to grow client accounts and developing proposals and Statements of Work.
- Managing creative production projects alongside our sister agency, PA Media Assignments, from pre‑production through to delivery.
- Owning account forecasting, revenue and commercial performance.
- Working collaboratively with our Content, Paid Media, Design and Insight teams.
- Coaching and supporting junior members of the Client Services team.
- Championing new ideas that improve the quality of our work and the experience we deliver for clients.
About you
You’ll be an experienced agency account manager who enjoys building strong relationships and leading complex projects with confidence.
You understand how great client service combines commercial awareness, strategic thinking and exceptional organisation.
You’ll also bring
- Experience in a client services or account management role within a marketing, communications or creative agency.
- Strong understanding of integrated campaign planning and delivery.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing account profitability and forecasting.
- Experience managing creative production projects, including video shoots and content creation.
- Confidence working with senior client stakeholders.
- A good understanding of social media and its role within wider marketing strategies.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine passion for delivering brilliant work.
- Experience mentoring or supporting more junior colleagues.
