About us

PA Media Group is the UK's leading provider of trusted news, information and data services. For more than 150 years, we've played a central role in the UK media ecosystem. Today, we're evolving. As the communications landscape shifts, we are building a more integrated, commercially focused marketing communications division, bringing together specialist brands including Mediapoint, Hydrogen, Sticky and PA Media Assignments into one powerful, joined-up proposition.

About the opportunity

This is a pivotal commercial marketing role within our growing PR & Marketing Services division. As GTM Manager, you'll play a central role in driving inbound demand, building pipeline and shaping how we bring our services to market across the division. This isn't a traditional marketing role. You'll combine campaign strategy, performance marketing, content activation and commercial thinking to generate high-quality opportunities that convert into revenue. Working closely with growth, commercial and agency teams, you'll help define how we attract, engage and convert prospective clients through always-on activity and targeted campaigns. You'll also help shape the division's go-to-market approach, identifying new opportunities, improving performance and building scalable demand generation activity that supports ambitious growth plans.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and own the always-on lead generation engine that drives qualified inbound opportunities
  • Plan and deliver targeted campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement and conversion from relevant prospects
  • Define and evolve the GTM content strategy, developing compelling campaign themes, whitepapers, webinars and other lead-generation content
  • Deliver against defined SQL and pipeline targets, tracking performance and optimising activity based on results
  • Lead content activation across paid distribution channels including search, display, social and CRM
  • Use CRM systems to accurately track, manage and report on opportunities and campaign performance
  • Work closely with leadership teams to support pipeline forecasting and commercial planning
  • Collaborate with business development and agency specialists to align marketing activity with commercial priorities
  • Leverage events, partnerships and industry networks to generate new opportunities and strengthen market presence

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who thrives in a commercially focused, growth-driven role with strong ownership, strategic influence and measurable impact. You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in demand generation, growth marketing, B2B marketing or commercial marketing
  • A proven ability to develop compelling campaigns, messaging and content that generate qualified leads and pipeline growth
  • Strong commercial understanding of pipeline performance, conversion and ROI
  • Experience managing paid activation across channels including search, display, social and CRM
  • Experience using analytics and performance tools such as GA4 and other reporting platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce and Pardot
  • Experience working within B2B services, consultancy, agency or professional services environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior commercial stakeholders

Desirable experience

  • Experience creating lead-generation content such as whitepapers, webinars and campaign assets
  • Understanding of social media, content marketing and the wider media landscape
  • Experience working across multiple business units and integrated service offerings
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market planning and commercial strategy

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to shape how growth marketing and demand generation operates across an ambitious, evolving communications division, with real influence on pipeline growth, commercial performance and market positioning. You can expect:

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus
  • Hybrid, flexible working with time split between home and either the Paddington or Glasgow office
  • 25 days' holiday plus options to buy more, alongside enhanced family leave
  • Life assurance 4x salary
  • Wellbeing and volunteering days to support you inside and outside of work
