About the role…
We are looking for fast, accurate and talented sub-editors, to work on football match report pages on Saturday evenings.
You will be proficient in InDesign and also possess a good knowledge of football, from the EFL down to the non-league pyramid. An interest in rugby is also helpful, but not essential, as you may be required to sub rugby reports.
You will need to be able to trim copy back under pressure, have the ability to rewrite stories where applicable, come up with snappy headlines and spot/correct any errors in the copy, all to strict deadlines.
