You will be responsible for helping us prevent, investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour, while making sure residents receive the right support when they need it most. From complex cases and safeguarding to partnership working and enforcement, you'll help us create safer, more sustainable communities where people can feel at home. This isn't your typical 9 to 5. This is a role where what you do genuinely matters. You'll be helping residents through some challenging situations, supporting your team to deliver great outcomes and working for an organisation that's passionate about making things better.

In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:

  • High street discount schemes
  • Health cash plans
  • 26 days annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
  • Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
  • Car leasing scheme
  • Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role.
  • Optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a high-performing ASB service focused on positive outcomes for residents and communities
  • Overseeing complex, high-risk and sensitive cases, making sure safeguarding and risk management are front and centre
  • Working with police, local authorities, safeguarding teams and other partners to tackle ASB effectively
  • Supporting enforcement action, legal processes and tenancy interventions where needed
  • Using performance information, customer feedback and case reviews to identify where we can do better
  • Making sure our service remains compliant with legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team so colleagues have the skills and confidence to deliver an excellent service
  • Building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Significant experience in housing management, anti-social behaviour, community safety or a related field
  • Experience leading and managing operational teams, with a focus on performance and service improvement
  • Strong experience of managing complex and high-risk ASB cases, including safeguarding
  • Good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management and ASB enforcement powers
  • Experience working with police, local authorities, safeguarding agencies and other partners to achieve positive outcomes
  • Experience of enforcement action, court processes and legal remedies available to landlords
  • Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions in challenging situations
  • A customer-focused and solution-driven approach, with a genuine commitment to creating safer, more sustainable communities
  • The ability to use performance data, customer feedback and insight to identify opportunities for improvement
  • A supportive leadership style, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a high-performing team
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and continuous improvement
  • A CIH qualification or relevant professional qualification would be desirable

If specific qualifications are required, please upload them with your application to demonstrate your eligibility. At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability. Our work is about people - not just properties - and we're always looking for ways to do better. If that sounds like your kind of place, we'd love to hear from you.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete a standard DBS check. A standard DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions. This role will be required to visit/support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore, we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing. Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action, if any, you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
