Are you great with people, organised under pressure and passionate about helping residents through change? We're looking for a Decant Coordinator to support residents who need to move from their home, either temporarily or permanently. You'll be their main point of contact throughout the process, helping them understand their options, keeping them updated and making sure the practical details of their move are taken care of. Working closely with colleagues across the Housing Operations Directorate, you'll help make what can be a challenging experience as smooth and positive as possible.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be at the heart of supporting residents through their move, making sure they have the right information, support and communication at every stage. Here's a snapshot:
- Manage a caseload of residents, acting as their main point of contact and keeping them updated throughout their move
- Help residents explore alternative accommodation and housing options that meet their individual needs
- Coordinate the practical arrangements of a move, including home loss payments, removals and carpets where applicable
- Work closely with Home Moves, Repairs, contractors, local authorities and other teams to resolve issues and keep moves on track
- Maintain accurate resident and move records, ensuring key information and KPI data is up to date
- Provide a high level of customer service while identifying opportunities to improve the decant service and resident experience
What we're looking for:

- A strong customer focus, with the empathy and patience to support residents through potentially challenging circumstances
- Excellent organisation skills, with experience managing complex administrative processes and competing priorities

- A calm, practical and solution-focused approach, with the confidence to make decisions and know when to escalate
- Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience using management systems to maintain accurate records
