This is an exciting leadership role where you'll oversee the delivery of neighbourhood services within your region, supporting teams to deliver visible, responsive, and customer-focused services that help communities thrive. You'll lead by example, creating a culture built on accountability, ownership, and community engagement.

Working closely with residents, colleagues, contractors, and local partners, you'll help shape services that respond to the changing needs of our communities and ensure residents remain at the heart of decision making. This is more than a housing management role. It is an opportunity to lead positive change, improve services, and create neighbourhoods where people feel safe, connected, and proud to live.

What's in it for you? In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:

  • High street discount schemes
  • Health cash plans
  • 26 days annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
  • Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
  • Car leasing scheme
  • Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role.
  • Optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Neighbourhood Coordinators to deliver excellent local services
  • Create a visible and proactive neighbourhood presence, building strong relationships with residents and communities
  • Monitor team performance and service standards, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and operational delivery
  • Support and empower teams to take ownership of local issues and make decisions that positively impact communities
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, contractors, local authorities, and community organisations
  • Attend community meetings and local events, acting as a key contact for residents and stakeholders
  • Oversee low level tenancy management activity including tenancy visits, tenancy audits, and iPeeps to ensure they are completed to a high standard
  • Support the management of low level anti-social behaviour cases and work closely with specialist teams when escalation is required
  • Lead contractor review meetings for services such as grounds maintenance and cleaning, ensuring residents receive high quality services
  • Manage stage one complaints and use customer feedback to drive service improvements
  • Support responses to MP, Councillor, and Housing Ombudsman enquiries where required
  • Monitor local budgets and community engagement spend to ensure value for money
  • Encourage innovation and challenge traditional approaches to improve neighbourhood services

What we're looking for:

  • Experience managing a customer-focused housing or neighbourhood team
  • Strong leadership skills and enjoy coaching and developing others
  • Understanding of housing management and neighbourhood services, including relevant legislation and best practice
  • Confidence in building relationships with residents, contractors, and external partners
  • Experience managing performance, service improvement, and customer satisfaction
  • Comfort in handling complaints and resolving complex issues professionally
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse performance information and use insight to improve services
  • Understanding of contract management and monitoring contractor performance
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Positive, collaborative, and community-focused approach to leadership
