We're looking for an organised and proactive

HR Administrator to join our People team.

As one of the first points of contact for HR, you'll play a vital role in supporting colleagues and managers across the business, ensuring every stage of the employee journey is delivered with professionalism, accuracy and care.

Whether you're coordinating new starters, supporting managers with people processes or maintaining our HR systems, you'll be part of a collaborative team that's passionate about delivering an excellent service and continually improving the colleague experience.

This is a Fixed Term contract for 12-months

You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role.

This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity.

  • What youll be doing
  • Delivering high-quality HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and leavers.
  • Managing key HR processes, including probation reviews, DBS renewals, absence management and compliance activities.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely, accurate and customer-focused support to managers and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records across our HR systems, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
  • Preparing HR documentation, letters and reports to support a wide range of people processes.
  • Supporting recruitment activity by advertising vacancies, issuing offers and coordinating new starter documentation.
  • Producing reports, maintaining records and contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the People team to deliver an efficient, responsive and customer-focused HR service

What were looking for

  • Previous experience in an HR administration or people support role.
  • Good understanding of HR processes, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Experience using HR systems, ideally i Trent or a similar HRIS.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, positive and team-focused approach with a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
