Help us invest in homes that residents are proud to live in. We're looking for a customer-focused Project Surveyor to deliver planned investment and major works programmes across our London and South East homes. Working closely with residents, contractors and colleagues, you'll play a key role in improving homes through programmes including kitchen, bathroom, window, door, roofing, retrofit and heating replacements, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver planned investment and major works programmes, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, retrofit and heating improvements.
  • Manage projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Carry out pre-start, work-in-progress and post-completion inspections to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of works, contract documentation and manage project information through Keystone.
  • Certify contractor valuations, variations and final accounts within delegated authority levels.
  • Work closely with residents, contractors and Resident Liaison Officers to ensure an excellent customer experience throughout every project.
  • Monitor and update property data to help shape future investment programmes.
  • Provide technical advice, manage contractual matters and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and organisational standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience delivering planned investment or major works programmes within social housing or residential property.
  • A relevant surveying or construction qualification (HNC Level 5 minimum), with RICS or CIOB accreditation desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of domestic property maintenance, planned works and quality assurance.
  • Experience managing contractors, contracts, valuations and project budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience using planned maintenance systems such as Keystone.
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

This role will be required to visit/support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore, we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
