Were looking for a Neighbourhood Coordinator Leasehold to help create safe, vibrant and welcoming communities for residents living in our Housing for Older People schemes.

Youll be a visible and trusted presence for residents, supporting their wellbeing and independence while helping to make sure our schemes are well managed, well maintained and great places to live.

From community engagement and resident events to safeguarding, home visits and improving the physical environment, this is a varied role where youll work closely with residents, colleagues and external partners to make a difference every day.

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 6 months

What youll be doing

Youll play a key role in creating positive communities and making sure residents receive a high-quality, responsive service. Heres a snapshot:

  • Build strong relationships with residents, providing a visible and accessible presence across our Housing for Older People schemes
  • Organise and support community activities and engagement events that promote wellbeing, independence and a sense of belonging
  • Provide intensive housing management, including home visits, advice, signposting and support with tenancy sustainment
  • Identify and appropriately escalate safeguarding concerns, supporting the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable residents
  • Manage enquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and providing clear, customer-focused advice
  • Monitor repairs, estate services and the condition of communal areas, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Complete and maintain Individual Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (iPEEPs), ensuring residents individual needs are reflected in emergency arrangements
  • Work with Asset Management and other colleagues to assess schemes, support investment planning and identify opportunities to improve the environment and value for money

What were looking for:

Were looking for someone who is passionate about supporting residents and creating great communities. Youll bring:

  • Experience working in housing, neighbourhood management, tenancy management or a similar customer-focused environment
  • Experience working directly with residents, including supporting older people or vulnerable adults
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to manage difficult conversations and resolve issues
  • Experience identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve services and the resident experience
  • Good organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage information accurately and work across a busy and varied role

This role requires of the successful candidate to complete a standard/enhanced DBS check. A standard/enhanced DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions.

So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
