Are you an HR professional who likes to make things happen? At PA Housing, we're looking for an HR Officer who can bring their expertise, build trusted relationships and make a real difference to the colleague experience. You'll work closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, providing advice, coaching and support across a wide range of people matters. From complex employee relations to improving policies and ways of working, you'll have the opportunity to influence, challenge and help shape what great HR looks like at PA Housing.

What you'll be doing:
- Providing generalist HR advice across the organisation
- Managing and advising on disciplinaries, grievances, attendance and capability cases
- Coaching and supporting managers through people-related challenges
- Acting as an HR Advisor in informal and formal meetings
- Supporting organisational restructures and business change
- Managing probation and performance reviews, absence and flexible working processes
- Developing and delivering manager training on HR policies
- Building positive relationships with colleagues, managers and trade union representatives
- Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with employment law
- Using HR data and insight to support performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Supporting HR projects and helping us find better ways of working
- Challenging existing thinking and contributing to a positive, unified culture across PA Housing
What we're looking for:
- We're looking for an HR professional who is confident, proactive and genuinely passionate about people.
- Ideally, you'll have:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant HR experience
- Proven experience working at HR Officer level in a people-focused organisation
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations cases
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies
- Experience building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- The confidence to challenge and hold your ground when needed
- A proactive, can-do approach and a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience using iTrent would be an advantage
