You'll play a key role in handling enquiries, supporting casework, and helping resolve issues early, ensuring residents feel heard, supported, and safe.
If you enjoy working with people, staying organised in a busy environment, and being part of a team that makes a real impact, we'd love to hear from you. This isn't just about administration; it's about supporting communities and improving people's day-to-day lives.
What's in it for you:
- High street discount schemes
- Health cash plans
- 26 days annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
- Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
- Car leasing scheme
- Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role
- Optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role
What you'll be doing:
- Provide first-line support for ASB, neighbour nuisance, and tenancy breach enquiries, aiming for early resolution
- Manage and monitor noise nuisance reports, including use of noise apps and logging cases on systems
- Support ASB casework by gathering information, building case files, and preparing documentation for legal action
- Deliver a triage service, including handling duty calls and responding to enquiries
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the ASB team
- Communicate with residents clearly and empathetically, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Manage complaints and ensure they are handled professionally and efficiently
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to support effective case management
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and data protection requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance service delivery
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- An interest in housing or community safety, with some knowledge of ASB (desirable)
- Confident communicator, especially over the phone
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Strong administrative and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Empathetic and able to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Work well as part of a team but can also use your own initiative
- Positive, can-do attitude and a strong customer focus
- Keen to learn and develop within housing or ASB services
If specific qualifications are required, please upload them with your application to demonstrate your eligibility. At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability. Our work is about people - not just properties - and we're always looking for ways to do better. If that sounds like your kind of place, we'd love to hear from you.
Disclosure and Barring Service: This role requires the successful candidate to complete a standard DBS check. A standard DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions. This role will be required to visit/support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore, we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing. Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for, and what remedial action, if any, you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
