The Role: As a key independent member of our Finance, Risk and Audit Committee your expertise in these specialisms will help us build on the foundations, for our future success. We are seeking a seasoned finance professional, with a passion for audit and risk, to bring their knowledge and drive to a housing association striving to exceed the standards and to define what good looks like in the sector. What you\’ll do: Provide a holistic view of the organisation and performance focusing on financial processes to deliver business success. Contribute to the development and review of the company strategy particularly relating to financial planning and risk management. Identity and assesses financial risks and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place. Track financial performance against targets and provide independent scrutiny of management\’s effectiveness against those targets. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements. Ensure robust risk management controls are in place and that the organisation is aware of and manages financial risks.
