As our Gas Administrator, you’ll support the Gas Manager in maintaining accurate Landlord Gas Safety Records (LGSR), coordinating contractor activity, and ensuring we meet our statutory obligations under gas safety legislation. You’ll be a key link between residents, contractors, and internal teams; helping appointments run smoothly, records stay up to date, and performance remains on track. This isn’t just admin, it’s meaningful work that directly supports resident safety, service quality, and regulatory compliance. This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
What’s in it for you:

- Health cash plans
- 26 days’ annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
- Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
- Car leasing scheme
- Hybrid working offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You’ll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately one to two days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity.
- Optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Gas Manager in delivering domestic and commercial gas servicing and breakdown services through our contractors.
- Maintain and update Landlord Gas Safety Records on the asset management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Produce daily operational reports showing our gas compliance position.
- Raise works orders across gas contracts and authorise job variations up to £250.
- Coordinate non-access processes, including contractor follow-up and solicitor referrals when required.
- Contact residents to book gas servicing appointments and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all gas records (paper and electronic) are stored and maintained in line with statutory legislation.
- Attend meetings, take minutes when needed, and support effective communication across teams and partners.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, residents, and stakeholders to deliver value for money and service excellence.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a customer-focused, performance-driven organisation.
- Previous experience within a small compliancy-based team, or property-related environment.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working with systems, databases, and operational reporting.
- Experience working within financial controls and authorising work within agreed limits.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with contractors and internal teams.
- A proactive, organised approach with the confidence to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a great customer experience.
