Job Purpose
Hold responsibility for the development, management and optimisation of the Group's ecommerce platforms, websites and digital channels across multiple business divisions. Combine ecommerce trading, website management, digital marketing and digital optimisation to support the growth of online sales and lead generation. Play a key role in improving website performance, customer experience, and conversion across all digital touchpoints.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Website Management & Digital Optimisation
- Manage and maintain the Group's websites, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and commercially effective.
- Create and update website pages, landing pages and digital content.
- Monitor website functionality and performance.
- Implement website improvements and user experience enhancements.
- Support hosting, domain, DNS and website infrastructure administration.
- Ecommerce & Marketplace Management
- Manage and optimise ecommerce channels and marketplace platforms to maximise sales performance and conversion.
- Maintain product listings, merchandising and content across platforms.
- Monitor marketplace account health and trading performance.
- Identify and implement optimisation opportunities across ecommerce channels.
- Source, implement and maintain relevant plugins, apps and integrations.
- Manage and support ecommerce activity across platforms including: Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, B&Q Marketplace (Mirakl), TikTok Shop, BigCommerce (Group websites).
- Digital Marketing & Performance Optimisation
- Support the planning, delivery and optimisation of digital marketing activity across the Group.
- Support SEO activity including keyword research, content optimisation and technical SEO implementation.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and audience segmentation.
- Monitor website and campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, engagement and sales performance.
- Insight, Growth & Commercial Support
- Support initiatives that drive enquiries, sales and customer acquisition across digital channels.
- Conduct keyword, search trend and competitor analysis to support decision-making and growth opportunities.
- Use market and performance data to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support digital activity linked to exhibitions, trade shows and commercial events.
- Assist in the development of trade-focused landing pages and lead generation activity.
