We are looking for a Consumer Electronics Engineer with experience in bringing high-volume consumer products to market. You will develop products from concept through to mass production, focusing on consumer product development while also having the opportunity to work within other sectors such as medical, life science, and defence.

- A proven track record of developing and implementing electronic designs using a professional workflow (we use Altium and Cadence tools).
- Well versed in core electronics disciplines including analogue and digital circuit design and experience using the latest embedded platforms.
- Demonstrable experience of balancing design BOM cost requirements with wider project requirements.
- Significant experience of delivering designs into service/mass production.
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU, and US, with a proven track record of designing for compliance with appropriate standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Energy and enthusiasm to take on unfamiliar challenges, coupled with the ability to innovate and think freely.
- Enthusiasm to help build the careers of less experienced engineers.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified β a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject from a leading university.
- The ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired (in practice, this requires sole UK nationality).
