Overview

In this AI Security Consultant role, you help clients secure AI-enabled environments, from cloud and data governance to AI agents and LLM integrations. You work within PA's Digital & Data practice, collaborating with product, design and tech teams to translate security risks into practical controls. You assess AI-related threats, model risks, and design guardrails that balance security with business outcomes. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders and shape secure AI adoption across client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cyber security assessments across technology estates, cloud, applications, networks, identity platforms and processes.
  • Review security architectures and provide actionable, risk-aligned recommendations.
  • Design and implement security controls for access management, data protection, logging, vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Translate technical findings into business-focused guidance for senior stakeholders.
  • Assess AI-enabled applications, LLM integrations, AI agents and autonomous workflows for security risks.
  • Support threat modelling for agentic systems and governance across AI lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI safely to improve security operations and assist SOC, GRC, and incident response functions.

Key requirements

  • Strong background in cyber security consulting, security architecture, risk management or security operations.
  • Understanding of identity and access management, cloud security, application security, data protection and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to assess environments and present prioritized recommendations.
  • Experience communicating with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of AI/generative AI/LLM-enabled systems and associated risks.
