Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site. Flexible working - We are guided by our client work and needs; however, you have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance. Hybrid role with the option to work from PA’s London office in Victoria. The role will be anchored by a dedicated team hub in Southwest London, with potential for further national travel as our services expand. The role is for 40 hours a week worked within 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Established in 2013, Argenti is an award-winning partnership created by PA Consulting. It collaborates with councils across the country to deliver an innovative approach to care technology services, also known as Technology Enabled Care (TEC) or telecare. Through its strategic partnerships with councils, Argenti helps people of all ages live safer, more independent, gloriously ordinary lives in the place they call home.

We are seeking a talented and solutions-focused Complex Case Manager to join our Argenti care technology team supporting our Argenti service in Southwest London. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about using technology to improve lives, thrives on creative problem-solving, and excels at working collaboratively within the Argenti Partnership and with colleagues across adult and children’s social care.

You will have opportunity to:

  • Sitting at the heart of our personalised Care Technology offer, this role involves supporting the development and delivery of bespoke Care technology solutions for vulnerable individuals with more complex or unique needs.
  • Working closely with Argenti partners and social care practitioners, you will support processing complex Care Technology referrals by exploring innovative, tailored options to help meet the desired outcomes and challenges of the people we support.
  • You will need to be highly skilled at engaging with social care professionals, hosting regular conversations to fully draw out key needs, risks, and aspirations, and working together to co-design the most effective technology-enabled solutions.
  • You’ll have access to our full portfolio of Argenti Care Technology products, and your specialist knowledge will be essential in matching the right technology (or combination of technologies) to the needs of individuals facing the most complex situations.
  • The ability to think flexibly and creatively is crucial, as is an openness to sourcing or proposing new solutions for testing and piloting where existing options don’t meet requirements.

Working within the Southwest London service, with the opportunity to work across our Argenti services, you will:

  • Work in partnership with social care professionals: Collaborate closely with frontline colleagues, drawing out key needs and challenges, and co-designing bespoke, person-centred solutions for complex cases.
  • Advise and support: Guide social care practitioners in identifying and specifying needs for complex Care Technology referrals, ensuring each recommendation is both evidence-based and innovative.
  • Support specialist Care technology installations: Complete installations of specialist Care Technology equipment for complex cases, including in supported living schemes, for virtual support, and with children and families.
  • Champion service user outcomes: Ensure every solution is truly person-centred, aspirational, and enhances independence, wellbeing, and safety.
  • Document and share learnings: Capture and communicate insights from complex cases, contributing to best practice across the Argenti partnership and with council partners.
  • Contribute to Argenti-wide innovation and evaluation: Play an active role in the ongoing innovation and evaluation process, working with the Argenti Innovation Specialist to influence the future of care technology.

You will report to the Argenti Operations Manager and work closely with the wider Southwest London team, as well as partners across the council and provider network. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in innovation, partnership working, and complex case management within a forward-thinking, award-winning care technology partnership.

Necessary skills and attributes:

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable people within a health or social care context.
  • Experience of working with care technology or a similar / related type of technology.
  • Strongly motivated to support vulnerable people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
  • Great communication skills, able to engage with partner organisations, stakeholders and clients independently and produce relevant reports and/or materials.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and aptitude for working with and learning about new technology.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with others.
  • Organised with good project management abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoys problem solving.
  • Adaptable to different scenarios and tasks and resilient in the face of any service challenges.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficient using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Desirable (but not necessary):

  • Direct experience of working with a council in an adult social care context.
  • Direct experience of using and installing care technology.
  • Experience of working with a monitoring organisation.
