Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site. Flexible working - We are guided by our client work and needs; however, you have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance. Expected to spend at least 3+ days in our client office (West London) with some other limited travel in these areas. Occasional travel to PA’s London office in Victoria.

Do you want to play a key role in delivering innovative care technology services that improve outcomes for vulnerable people? Our Care Technology team are looking for an exceptional Care Technology Operations Facilitator with experience in Health or Social Care. You will support the day-to-day delivery of our Argenti care technology service, managing referrals and ensuring a high-quality, efficient service for council staff and service users. You will also support wider service responsibilities including quality assurance, transformation and programme delivery and contract management and compliance. In this role, you will contribute to service excellence while helping people live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Established in 2013, Argenti is an award-winning partnership created by PA Consulting. It collaborates with Councils across the country to deliver an innovative approach to care technology services, also known as TECS or telecare. Through its strategic partnerships with Councils, Argenti helps people of all ages live safer, more independent, gloriously ordinary lives in the place they call home.

Purpose of the role

  • To be part of an award-winning team responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operational service, ensuring that it is efficient and responsive to the needs of Council staff and service users.
  • To work with potential referrers of care technology to support their high-quality referrals into the service to achieve better outcomes and quality of life for service users, their families and their carers.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all records are kept accurately.
  • To serve as an ambassador for the Argenti partnership, representing the service in a positive and progressive manner at all times through all interactions.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the Argenti Service, managing referrals by assessing for appropriateness, reviewing and quantifying benefits.
  • Assist in the smooth running of the business as usual operations by taking responsibility for enquiries. Provide an efficient service on the phone and email when dealing with internal and external communication.
  • Support referrers to make high quality referrals for care technology that are ‘right first time’.
  • Be responsible for receiving and rapidly resolving queries and complaints from service users, Care Managers, other professionals and external agencies in an efficient and effective manner in line with contract requirements, engaging with service delivery partners and escalating to the Operations Manager as appropriate.
  • Maintain up to date, accurate and timely records within Argenti operational systems and ensure all required data is added into Councils’ care management system and Argenti’s systems in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Carry out all duties with due regard to the provisions of health and safety regulations and legislation, the Council’s equal opportunities and customer care policies, Codes of Conduct, Disciplinary & Efficiency Rules, and the new approach to care technology.
  • Support delivery of our care technology transformation and programme delivery activity, for example delivery of proof concepts, continuous improvement and culture change activities.
  • Support our care technology contract management and compliance activity, including contributing to reporting and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • IT skills with all basic Microsoft packages, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Be able to run data analysis and reports using Excel. Skills should include logical functions, working with lookups, data validation, pivot tables.
  • Analytical skills, be able to interpret data sets.
  • Great communication skills, to be trusted to engage with clients independently and produce reports using PowerPoint and Word.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Great teamwork, adaptability and resilience.
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • A good understanding of social care users and their needs and the outcomes of care technology.
  • A strong grasp of the health and care sector, including understanding of safeguarding, personalisation and working with vulnerable people.
  • Flexibility to work across PA’s care technology contracts as required.
