We are seeking an experienced Head of Internal Communications for a 1-year fixed term (Maternity Cover). Earlier this year, Jacobs Solutions completed its acquisition of the remaining stake in PA. Jacobs’ further investment in PA creates a global advisory and delivery powerhouse for clients. As the Head of Internal Communications for PA – now a division within Jacobs – you’ll work closely with PA’s CEO and Global Head of Communications to deliver the organisation’s communications strategy. You’ll also partner closely with key leaders from areas across both PA and Jacobs including, but not limited to, HR, Sales, and Consulting Leads. And you’ll play a key role in the change team responsible for designing and communicating the integration of PA into its new home.
This is a high-impact role for a senior professional with experience developing and driving internal communications strategies and serving as a trusted adviser to the C-suite. You will be responsible for shaping the approach to internal communications that guides the organisation through a period of significant transition – therefore experience in M&A and company-wide transformations is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage a team of internal communications colleagues
- Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and other leaders on leadership communication and engagement
- Set the internal communications strategy and define clear objectives and priorities
- Own the tone of voice, messaging principles, and storytelling standards and guidelines
- Ensure communications actively support firm-wide performance and behaviour change
- Work closely with Jacobs’ communications colleagues to align on internal communications deliverables and future planning
- Build incremental innovations and enhancements to improve internal channels (intranet, leadership calls, written updates, video)
- Use insight to improve impact and inform leadership decisions.
The role will report into PA’s Global Head of Communications and sit within the Global Marketing Function. The role will be for 1-year fixed term, to cover maternity leave, with a starting date of early July 2026. Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week.
