Job Description
This role will be based in our Cambridge office.
The successful candidate is expected to attend the office (Cambridge or London) as required to deliver in-person events and recruitment activities, which may be several days per week during busy periods.
Outside of these times, there is flexibility to work from home depending on workload.
The Early Careers Coordinator will play a hands-on, front-facing role supporting the delivery of key recruitment events and managing the candidate journey.
Reporting to the team lead (or Senior Recruiter), this individual will be integral to the Early Careers team’s success, ensuring events run smoothly and candidates have an excellent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with pipeline management and candidate experience/engagement.
- Run assessment centre (AC) and final interview (FIV) events.
- Source assessors for events, backfill assessors/candidates when needed, and schedule candidates to ensure events run to full capacity.
- Send all pre-work and technical assessment materials to candidates and ensure timely return.
- Arrange and complete feedback and offer calls with candidates.
- Schedule events and manage timetables in Top Score, updating as needed and maintaining clear communication with assessors.
- Deliver recruitment events on-site and provide support with university attraction events.
- Provide general support to the recruitment team as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in administration or coordination roles.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving ability and solutions-focused mindset.
- Able to work autonomously and use initiative when challenges arise.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills; confident engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Early careers or volume recruitment experience is highly desirable
Hours:
Standard hours are 9:00–17:30; flexibility to start earlier or finish earlier may occasionally be needed for event delivery.
