What You Can Expect

  • Work to agile best practices and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders; solve problems for clients and work on internal projects.
  • Live in-person whiteboarding sessions and collaborative problem solving alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.
  • Hybrid working with client site or office minimum two days per week, with variability by role and assignment (including up to 5 days on client site).
  • A values-driven environment that emphasizes excellence and curiosity.
  • DevOps focus: join a collaborative team to drive transformations through agile engineering at internet scale.
  • Specialize in AWS and Azure to automate processes for efficient service delivery.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for production services.

Qualifications

Essential requirements

  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience building and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Jenkins, Git, SVN, CVS, CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, CodePipeline, Azure Stack).
  • Experience implementing microservices and containers (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., ELK/TICK stacks, Splunk, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking to host digital services (storage, firewall, network config).
  • High availability, business continuity and disaster recovery in the cloud.
  • Experience deploying serverless functions (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Azure Functions).
  • Working knowledge of OS and CLI; experience deploying/configuring application servers in virtual machines (Linux, Tomcat, JBoss, Windows Server, IIS).

Note: Some UK roles may require UK security clearance. All PA people undergo background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard; higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply with residency requirements.

Assessment process

The interview stages may change based on role requirements. Process typically includes:

  • Initial call with a Tech Recruiter to discuss the role and application.
  • Round 1: Technical interview (60 mins).
  • Round 2: Competency interview (60 mins).
  • Final round: Meeting with a PA leader, mini case study and discussion around client-centricity (60 mins).
