Job Description
Hybrid working – we expect you to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. Working hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The role is based in Southwest London with potential for national travel.

Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with social care professionals: collaborate closely with frontline colleagues, draw out key needs and challenges, and co‑design bespoke, person‑centred solutions for complex cases.
- Advise and support: guide social care practitioners in identifying and specifying needs for complex Care Technology referrals, ensuring recommendations are evidence‑based and innovative.
- Support specialist Care technology installations: complete installations of specialist Care Technology equipment for complex cases, including supported living schemes, virtual support, and for children and families.
- Champion service user outcomes: ensure every solution is truly person‑centred, aspirational, and enhances independence, wellbeing, and safety.
- Document and share learnings: capture and communicate insights from complex cases, contributing to best practice across the Argenti partnership and with council partners.
- Contribute to Argenti‑wide innovation and evaluation: play an active role in the innovation and evaluation process, working with the Argenti Innovation Specialist to influence the future of care technology.
You will report to the Argenti Operations Manager and work closely with the wider Southwest London team and partners across the council and provider network.
Qualifications
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people within a health or social care context.
- Experience of working with care technology or a similar/related type of technology.
- Strong motivation to support vulnerable people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
- Great communication skills, able to engage independently with partner organisations, stakeholders and clients, and produce relevant reports.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and aptitude for working with and learning new technology.
- A collaborative team player who works well with others.
- Organised with good project‑management abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Enjoys problem‑solving.
- Adaptable to different scenarios and tasks and resilient in the face of challenges.
- Good analytical skills.
- Proficient using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Desirable (but not necessary)
- Direct experience of working with a council in an adult social care context.
- Direct experience of using and installing care technology.
- Experience of working with a monitoring organisation.
Security Clearance
Some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance. All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK. Applicants should meet the residency requirements (British citizen or resident in the UK for the past 5 years).
