This is a full-time on-site role located in Glasgow for a Planning Engineer – Civil at P6 Planning. The role involves developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Track progress against baseline schedules, identify delays and risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and support project teams in planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Assist in resource planning, cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
- Strong expertise in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6.
- Proven experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects (including MEP coordination).
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and delay analysis.
- Experience in progress monitoring, reporting, and schedule optimization.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
- Ability to manage and coordinate complex project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with planning methodologies and project control tools.
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Certification in Primavera P6 or project planning is an advantage.
- Experience in sustainable infrastructure projects is a plus.
