This is a full-time on-site role located in Glasgow for a Planning Engineer – Civil at P6 Planning. The role involves developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
  • Track progress against baseline schedules, identify delays and risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and support project teams in planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Assist in resource planning, cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects (including MEP coordination).
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and delay analysis.
  • Experience in progress monitoring, reporting, and schedule optimization.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex project schedules.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with planning methodologies and project control tools.
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Certification in Primavera P6 or project planning is an advantage.
  • Experience in sustainable infrastructure projects is a plus.
