  • Settlement negotiations and agreements
  • ACAS conciliation

The role will suit a commercially minded UK-qualified junior employment lawyer with strong technical foundations, excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Supporting on Employment Tribunal matters, including pleadings, evidence preparation and hearing support
  • Delivering pragmatic HR advisory support across a varied and high-calibre client base

Expect meaningful client contact from day one, with real scope to build your profile and develop your own client relationships as you progress.

The ideal Employment Associate

  • UK-qualified junior lawyer with solid employment law experience (contentious and/or advisory)
  • Training and/or current experience within a law firm or strong in-house team
  • Strong drafting skills across contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Confident communicator with a practical, client-first mindset
  • Keen to develop business awareness and contribute to client relationship-building
  • Proactive, organised and collaborative—someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
  • Based in South Wales or the South West of England would be desirable but not essential

In Return

  • High-quality work and a genuinely varied client base
  • Close mentorship and hands-on training
  • Supportive, friendly culture with a true team ethos
  • Competitive salary

This role offers top-quality work, real responsibility and a more personal, flexible environment. Interested? Apply now for a confidential discussion.
