About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Fostering Administrator to join a supportive and established fostering service.
This is a rewarding role at the heart of the fostering team, providing essential administrative support to the Registered Manager, fostering managers, social workers and foster carers.
You will play an important part in ensuring the fostering service operates efficiently, maintains accurate records and continues to meet relevant fostering regulations and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Fostering Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a first point of contact for telephone calls, enquiries and correspondence.
- Providing high-quality administrative support to managers and social workers.
- Organising and coordinating fostering panel meetings, including dates, venues, paperwork and arrangements.
- Preparing accurate and compliant panel documentation.
- Taking clear and accurate minutes at fostering panels and other meetings this is essential.
- Organising training, events and meetings for foster carers and staff.
- Supporting the assessment process for prospective foster carers.
- Undertaking and tracking statutory checks.
- Monitoring assessment progress and ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Booking required training and assessments.
- Maintaining accurate databases, records and spreadsheets.
- Collecting and managing data to support audits, inspections and reporting.
- Preparing letters, reports and other professional documentation.
- Supporting managers and social workers with queries and administrative requirements.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
