About the Role We're recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager (Service Leader Level 2) to lead a thriving Extra Care service in Kirkby . This purpose-built service supports almost 100 older adults to live independently within their own apartments while providing flexible, high-quality support whenever it's needed. You'll be responsible for the overall management of the service, leading a large and dedicated staff team, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and ensuring every person receives exceptional, person-centred care. Your Responsibilities As Registered Manager, you will: Lead, motivate and develop a large team of care professionals. Oversee the day-to-day running of the Extra Care service. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements. Promote high-quality, person-centred care and positive outcomes. Manage staffing, recruitment, supervision and performance. Oversee budgets, audits and quality assurance processes. Develop and review care and support plans. Build strong relationships with families, commissioners and healthcare professionals. About the Service This well-established Extra Care service provides support for almost 100 older adults , helping people maintain their independence within a safe, welcoming and purpose-built environment. The service is supported by a large and experienced staff team, with approximately 1012 colleagues on duty during the day and 2 overnight staff , ensuring high-quality support is available around the clock. About You We're looking for a compassionate and experienced leader who can inspire others while maintaining the highest standards of care. You'll have: Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Service Manager or equivalent within Adult Social Care. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards. Experience leading and developing large teams. Experience supporting people with complex needs and behaviours requiring intensive support planning. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Confidence using IT systems and digital care records. A full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or currently working towards it).
