We are recruiting Adult Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across the South Ribble area.
The Role
You'll provide person-centred support on a 1:1 basis, helping individuals live as independently as possible within their own homes. Unlike many care roles, you'll generally be based in one home per shift, allowing you to build meaningful relationships without travelling between multiple clients throughout the day. You'll be supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including:
- Learning disabilities
- Behaviours that may challenge
- Forensic risk backgrounds
- Personal care, including assisting with the application of prescribed creams
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
- Supporting community access and social inclusion
Shift Pattern
37-hour permanent contract, working alternate weekends. Typical shifts include: 9:00am - 4:00pm, 4:00pm - 11:00pm followed by a sleep-in. Expected to complete 12 sleep-ins per week (rota dependent). Plenty of overtime available for those wanting additional hours.

Essential:

- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or above)
- Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs
- Full UK driving licence (advantageous, as some individuals have Motability vehicles available for activities and appointments)
