About the Service
The service provides 11 self-contained flats for adults recovering from mental health problems. Residents are supported to manage their accommodation, improve wellbeing, build life skills, and successfully transition back into independent living and the wider community. The approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and focused on helping every individual achieve greater independence and stability.
The Role
As Service Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the service. You will inspire and support your team to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused support while ensuring the service remains safe, effective, and financially sustainable. You will work closely with residents, staff, commissioners, and external agencies to ensure the service delivers positive outcomes for the people supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage a dedicated support team
- Oversee assessments, support planning and resident interventions
- Manage the daily operations of the supported housing service and building
- Drive service improvement, quality assurance and performance standards
- Build strong partnerships with commissioners and community organisations
- Monitor budgets, KPIs and contractual targets
- Recruit, train and develop staff, volunteers and students
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety compliance
