P4 Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Support Worker to join a male only supported living service in Hounslow, working with men aged 18-65 years who are on their journey to mental health recovery.
Location: Hounslow, London
Contract: Full Time | 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shifts: 8:00am-4:00pm & 2:00pm-10:00pm
Rota: 1 in 4/5 weekends (subject to staffing needs)
About the Role:
You’ll be part of a therapeutic, trauma-informed team that supports residents with a range of mental health needs in a structured, supportive environment. This role is shift-based and includes both early and late shifts on a rolling rota.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional and practical support to service users
- Supporting daily living activities including cooking, medication prompts, and community integration
- Collaborating with therapists, support coordinators, and clinical professionals
- Promoting independence, self-confidence, and recovery goals
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records
About You:
- Previous experience in mental health, supported living, or similar care environments
- Passion for men’s mental health and empowerment
- Calm, compassionate, and resilient under pressure
- Ability to work shifts including some weekends (1 in 4/5)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it (preferred)
