As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring outstanding care, regulatory compliance, and strong team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management of a children’s residential home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Achieve and maintain GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings
  • Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care
  • Ensure safeguarding practices are robust and effective
  • Manage admissions, care planning, risk assessments, and outcomes for young people
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, quality assurance, and reporting
  • Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, professionals, and families

About You

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care
  • Strong history of achieving or maintaining GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted outcomes
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and legislation
  • Confident, resilient leader with excellent organisational and people‑management skills
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
