What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting young people with daily routines (school prep, meals, activities)
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of support workers
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care and support
  • Promoting individuality — no “one size fits all” approach
  • Monitoring care plans and producing reports for management
  • Providing emotional support and building meaningful relationships
  • Creating a warm, homely environment (including light housekeeping)
  • Planning and participating in activities like park trips, movie nights, and creative projects
  • Accurately updating records using electronic care systems (Clearcare experience beneficial but not essential)

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a children’s residential setting
  • Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care
  • A full UK manual driving licence
  • Experience supporting or mentoring team members
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexibility to cover shifts
