About the Role: An accommodation-based service for individuals with complex needs, including homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
  • Assess new clients for suitability and provide crisis support when needed.
  • Advise on welfare benefits, housing, and homelessness legislation.
  • Develop client-led support plans to help achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Make referrals and assist clients in accessing health, education, employment, and community services.
  • Promote resident involvement and deliver one-to-one and group interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and support facility management, including safety checks and room inspections.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in support work, ideally within homelessness or social care settings.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends.
